A Railway Station - Paragraph


 A railway station is a very common place. Here trains stop and start from. People from all walks of life come here. Some of them are passengers, some are porters or hawkers. The building of a railway station is brick built. It is generally painted red. Besides passengers, porters and hawkers, railway police and ticket checkers are seen in a railway station. In a railway station, the passengers feel worried. They are found walking , standing or sitting here and there. Some are found collecting tickets from the ticket counter. Everyone seems to be anxious until the train comes. When the expected train comes, they get into the train. One can see from a distance the green, blue and red signals. The flagman moves about with red and green flags. The station is indeed a busy place but it becomes clam and quiet as soon as the train steams off.
