Sir,
With due respect I beg to state that after coming to school I have caught cold suddenly. For this reason I cannot continue my classes and stay at school any longer. So I need a short leave.

I, therefore, pray and hope that you will kindly grant me leave after the 2nd period today and oblige thereby.
