Dear Sir,
We, the students of your school, beg most respectfully to state that it has been pouring heavily since morning. Very few students have been able to come to school for that reason. Besides this, we cannot hear our teachers' lecture quite clearly for heavy rainfalls. So we cannot pay attention to our study.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to suspend the classes for the rest of the day and oblige thereby.
