Bangladesh is a small country. It is also a developing and poor country. But its population is large. So this country is beset with a lot of problems. The unemployment problem is one of the greatest problems in Bangladesh.
Unemployment means getting no employment or remaining jobless. It is a great social evil. It spoils the peace and prosperity of social life. There goes the proverb that an idle brain is the devil's workshop. An unemployed person has an idle brain. Such a man has no work and therefore no income. So he cannot but do mischief.
There are many reasons behind this serious problem. Political instability, government's autocracy and incompetence, traditional educational system, lack of vocational education and training, illiteracy, corruption etc. are the main reasons. Unemployment hinders all kinds of development. So we must take necessary steps to solve this problem and eradicated it from society as soon as possible.
Public awareness should be raised, corruption should be stopped, illiteracy should be eradicated from the root level, preference should be given to vocational training and finally people from all classes must come forward to find a way to get rid of this curse.
