Dear Sir,
I, on behalf of the students of your school, beg most respectfully to state that in order to hold the tradition of our school, we, like in the previous years, intend to celebrate Pahela Baishakh, on of the traditional days of the Bangalee nation. We have already discussed among ourselves about how to celebrate the day. Now, we need your permission. With your permission, we shall start rehearsal of the cultural programme.

I, therefore, pray that you would kindly give us necessary permission to celebrate the day and oblige thereby.
